Neal Cavuto Advocates for Inertia

Ron Paul schools Neal Cavuto on civil disobedience. While Paul parts ways with Spooner regarding the Constitution, do you suppose Cavuto knows who Lysander Spooner was?

Senator Bond Shafts Missouri

While Senator Claire McCaskill (D) made good on her promise by voting against cloture on the Kennedy/Bush/McCain immigration sham, Senator Bond flipped Missourians the bird by voting for cloture.

Late in the afternoon, Senator Bond (B, for Bozo) tried to convince Sean Hannity's listeners that he had done a wonderful thing. The reasoning went something like this: now Bond gets to take the Senate floor and explain to his partners in crime why this is such a bad bill. Bowled over by his skilled oratory, they will be properly chastised and wonder why the hell they every considered this steaming turd of a bill. (The whole thing was pretty difficult to follow. Bond's explanation was convoluted--in fact, he sounded positively senile). Adding to the confusion was the fact that Hannity thought Bond had voted against closure.

Senator Bond, I'm sure your constituents are letting you know know in no uncertain terms that we much prefer McCaskill's no B.S. approach to the matter. Not that you seem to care.

I'd hope that Missouri Republicans can get over their partisanship long enough to call Senator McCaskill's office and THANK HER. I called...right after I fired off a rather acid critique of Senator Bond's performance to his DC office.

Frau Clinton Knows Best

According to Drudge, Senators Stalin Clinton and Boxer are going to "do something" about talk radio, which we can assume means resuscitating the Fairness Doctrine.

RON PAUL COMING TO MISSOURI

Rats! Ron Paul is coming to Missouri and I'll be stuck at work.

For those of you who can sneak away next Friday, Rep. Ron Paul will be appearing at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City on June 15th. There will be a reception at 4:30 p.m. and a rally starting at 5:30.

You can keep track of when Ron will be coming to a town near YOU by checking out Eventful.

Quick Takes On CNN's Republican Debate

CNN pretended Ron Paul wasn't there.

Rudy uses the "n" word--NATION BUILDING--as in we must start training our troops in nation building. Can we assume that a President Rudy would be invading lots more countries?

Arriana Huffington must have been huffing something because she thought John McClain looked like a winner tonight.

Romney, Brownback, and Thompson?  YAWN

Tancredo went too far by suggesting that we should stop LEGAL immigration.

Huckabee gave a brilliant answer to the question on whether he believed in evolution, but later gave a broad hint that he would be a big, BIG spender when it comes to social issues (something you already knew if you've been paying attention to his record in Arkansas.)

The "top tier" was totally uninspiring tonight.
