Free Republic My Ass
Imagine my surprise to find that my account at "Free" Republic "has been banned or suspended." Since I am not guilty (unlike so many others there) of posting hateful rants, it appears that I have committed the unpardonable sin of supporting Ron Paul.
Free Republic bills itself as "the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America."
When it comes to "Free" Republic, I guess that independent and conservative equates with Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney.
It is to laugh!

Actually, Kucinich gags me.

Well Ron Paul is just a maniac. Honestly his supporters always struck me as lib dems pushing for a spoilier. Seriously, a Ron Paul / Kusinich ticket would make some of you hit the roof and I know it.
Anyway, just FYI, I had posting rights stripped also.
After being there for years, I was cut off becuase I dared to defend Rudy, which is a no-no to Jim Robinson... just to give you an idea on how far Jim will go.

I agree completely that he is within his rights.
Maybe we should start a contest to suggest a new name for his site.

Don't feel alone. I had been posting at FR since 1999 and was banned two weeks ago for supporting Dr. Paul! My screen name was KentuckyWoman. JimRob (the owner of FR), while perfectly within his rights as site owner of FR, nevertheless, should change the same to Censored Republic!! Please be advised that JimRob has registered FredRepublic.com and it is currently redirecting to the FR site! Tells you pretty quick what/who you have to support to maintain your posting privledges there!
