In typical politician fashion they only answer the questions they deem important to their election. very few if any candidate, excluding Ron Paul and the libertarians, want to give the states the right to endorse such measures. Remember without the WAR ON DRUGS cops could actually protect and serve. currently there mission is to write up paperwork after the crime has been committed, perpetrated, and the criminal is long gone.
