Activist Training Available in Kansas
American Majority is hosting free training for those interested in becoming more active in their communities.
Training will take place on Saturday, September 29th.
The training will be hosted at the historic Lane University Chapel in the Territorial Capital Museum from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at 640 E Woodson in Lecompton, just a few minutes from Lawrence. The event is FREE and a complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to each attendee.
Presentations that will be offered include:
- Building Coalitions, Reaching Your Community, and Organizing Meaningful Events
- Holding Your Elected Officials Accountable
- Getting Involved in State and Local Political Campaigns
- New Media: Op-Eds, Blogs, Wikipedia Projects and more
American Majority bills itself as " non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to train and equip a national network of leadership committed to individual freedom through limited government and the free market."
